Project:
Create a line drawing in Desmos.com
Create a line drawing in Desmos.com
Students per project: 1 student
Project due date: Jan. 19th 2021 (this may change)
Points for project: 100 points
Each student will be assigned one drawing, (no student will have the same as another student).
Let the teacher know which picture you want and the teacher will let you know if it is available.
If the picture is available then the teacher will email you the drawing.

Getting started:
1. Go to the following link: https://www.desmos.com/calculator
2. At the top right click on "Sign Up"
3. Click on "Email Address"
4. Enter in a email, your name, and a password. Click the two boxes. Click "Create Account".
5. At the top left click on "Untitled Graph", change this to the name of the drawing with your name in parenthesis next to it. Example: Bear (Mr. Montgomery)
6. After the teacher emails you the drawing, download it, (pay attention where you download it to).
7. At the top left click on the "+". A menu will appear. Choose "image". Choose the drawing that was emailed to you form the teacher. Click "Open".
8. The drawing for your project should now be shown on the screen. If you want to re-size the drawing then click the drawing and click and drag the CORNER grip to the size you prefer.
Note: Once you start adding in your lines, don't re-size the drawing.
9. You are now ready to start your project, don't forget to save often.

The project also needs to be added to your Portfolio.
How to add the project to your portfolio:
1. After you email the project to the teacher, the teacher will grade it and turn it into a PDF and email the PDF back to you.
2. Click and drag the PDF into your Google drive.
3. If you don't already have a page for your PBL's, then create one.
4. Go to the PBL page and click on "insert" on the right hand side.
5. Click on Drive on the right hand side.
6. Select the PDF's that you dragged into your drive, a box will pop up that say's "insert", Click on the pop up "insert".
7. Click and hold the bottom right grip on the PDF and drag it as large as you can get it to fit in the space provided.
8. Sometimes the Box cuts off the bottom of the PDF. If it does, click and drag the middle-bottom grip down until the entire PDF is shown.
9. Publish the Portfolio and share the Portfolio site with the teacher.

2. A bubble will open that says "Share Your Graph", on the right side of the bubble it says "Copy", click that.
3. Compose an email to me, ([email protected]), and paste the link in the email, (in the body of the email right click and choose paste, this should paste the link to your drawing.
